INDIVIDUAL AND THE COLLECTIVE

This present blog is a series of dialogue around site-specific art activity and its further possibilities in contemporary art practice by the final year BFA students of Department of Painting under the guidance of Sanchayan Ghosh, Associate Professor, Department of Painting, Kala Bhavana, Visva Bharati University, Santiniketan. In the coming two weeks we will be posting the process and engagement with different contexts of site-specific dialogues in relationship to multiple sites both private and public.The first part of the posts will include a regular report on the process of the sitespecific project in  Babli, Dwaranda, a composite farmland that works closely with the local farmers of Dwaranda. The process will finally culminate into a sitespecific installations and performance projects as part of the Route2 Festival( a composite Art Festival initiated in Babli).
